About IHF
Irish Hospice Foundation(IHF) is a national charity that addresses dying, death and bereavement in Ireland. Our vision is an Ireland where people facing end of life or bereavement, and those who care for them, are provided with the care and support that they need.
Every death matters and we only have one chance to get it right. From advocacy and education, to our vital services like Nurses for Night Care, our Bereavement Support Line, Caru – a continuous learning programme for care and compassion for end-of-life in nursing homes, and our Dying Well at Home programme, we believe in the importance of dying well and grieving well wherever the place.

About Education at IHF
We work with hospitals, nursing homes, workplaces and bereavement groups to support and embed education and training in end-of-life and bereavement care. We ensure our training is based on evidence, provides opportunity for reflection, is relevant to practice and is appropriately accredited.
From our MSc in Loss & Bereavement, Professional Certificate in Children & Loss and Grief in the Workplace, to our end-of-life care and bereavement workshops, there is a wide spectrum of training to choose from. As workplace and education environments evolve, we strive to improve and expand our eLearning platforms accordingly, by continuing to strengthen our capacity to deliver both online and in-person education and training in a variety of formats, from webinars and virtual meetings to workshops and eLearning.
